JR. YOUTH GROUP (GRADES 6-7)
Our IMPACT Jr. High group is at the same dates and times as kidsROCK, but they are their own group. This coming year the kids in grades 6-7 will participate in the STEM Club, but will also be looked at as student leaders to help some of the younger children in kidsROCK.
Just like with all of our groups and programs we are going to be doing all that we can to follow government guidelines when we meet.
We also ask that you please fill out the registration form found in the link below and bring it with you your first week, or when you drop off your child the first week ask a leader for one and fill it out then.
If you have any questions about our Jr High ministry please contact Dave at the office 519-842-8762 or by email email@example.com
SR. YOUTH GROUP (GRADES 8-12)
ARK Youth is our new Sr.Youth Group (Grades 8-12) here at FBC. Why ARK you may ask? Well the Ark is what God used to spare Noah and his family and the animals of the Earth and allow for a clean slate with the promise that it wouldn’t happen again. Also ARK is the perfect acronym for the focus of our group this year. Acts of Random Kindness. To many people Jesus is nothing more than a name, and we would like the focus of our group to be on being Jesus for people. If we can allow Jesus to use us and work through us we know that we can see our community change for the better. Sometimes it’s the small Acts of Random Kindness that have the biggest impact, and that is why our group is called ARK Youth.
Our first ARK at FBC this year is going to be Monday September 27th, from 6:30-8:30 and will be every week following except on Holidays. We are also going to be doing some joint youth events with other churches in town throughout the year as well.
Our ARK Youth Group is for anyone in grades 8-12. If you are interested in joining us on a Monday night we would love to have you, or you can keep an eye on the website for new events being added to see what else is going on.
Also even with all of the challenges that this year is going to present us as far as doing special events and going on outings, there are some things that we have planned. We are hosting a Change Conference event on Friday October 15th from 7:00-9:00 at FBC.
(https://changeconference.com/) and the Blizzard winter retreat is still planned with a few different contingencies as well (https://cboqyouth.ca/experiences/blizzard/).
