We exist as a church family committed to GATHERING to worship God, GROWING to maturity in Christ, and GOING as missionaries into our world. Having grown up in Port Rowan, I’ve always appreciated the rich history and strong sense of community here. After spending several years out west, I’m glad to be back home and now serving as pastor at First Baptist Church Tillsonburg.
I’d love to meet you — feel free to drop by on a Sunday at 10 a.m. or stop in during the week to say hello. We’re just regular folks who believe in a God of second chances.

OUR BUILDING
18 Harvest Avenue
First Baptist Church Tillsonburg began in 1853 as a small gathering of believers committed to worship and community service. After meeting in earlier locations for many years, the church moved to its current property on 18 Harvest Avenue and completed the construction of our present building in 2020. This move marked a new chapter — creating a welcoming, dedicated space for worship, discipleship, and outreach. Today, we continue to build on that legacy as we serve Christ and our Tillsonburg community.

We believe abundant life is for kids too! Through our Sunday School and Nursery programs, your children will be cared for in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where they can discover God’s love, build meaningful friendships, and begin growing in their faith from the very start.
For your students
We are passionate about helping our Jr. Youth discover their identity in Christ, build authentic friendships, and grow as devoted followers of Jesus. Our Jr. Youth group is a place where the next generation can belong, be encouraged, and be equipped to live out their faith with confidence.
