Overview

From September to May, all kids in grades 3-6 are invited to a FREE program every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 at the Southridge School Gym. At kidsROCK there will be activities, group games, life lessons and lots of fun!

Each kidsROCK night begins as parent/guardian signs in their child at 6:30pm at the Southridge Public School gym entrance. Our Adult and Student leaders will then lead several group games or creative activities, at half-time there will be a snack break and coaching session. The night will then finish with a few cool-down games. At 8:00pm the parent/guardian will sign out their child and head home.

Age group: Grades 3 to 6
Location: Southridge Public School - side entrance to gym
Time: Every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:00pm. (Runs from September 18th, 2019 to May 27, 2020)

Our Goals

At kidsROCK we have three simple goals:

  • Healthy Minds - Through encouraging teamwork we desire to help each student develop a positive attitude towards others and themselves.

  • Healthy Bodies - Through a variety of fun activities we desire to help each student use their energy and encourage an active lifestyle.

  • Healthy Souls - Through coaching moments that centre around the teachings of Jesus, we desire to help each student experience God's best for their life.
