General Information
For more than three decades, First Baptist Church Tillsonburg has provided weekly kids and youth programs for the young people of our community. Continuing this legacy, this year we are re-launching our weekly children's program for grades 3-5 under the name kidsROCK. The purpose of this program is to provide a place where children in grades 3-5 can come for a free weekly program that encourages friendship building, physical activity and Christian values. Each week kids can expect to come to a safe and encouraging environment where they can participate in a variety of activities that engage the mind, body and soul. Most weeks kidsROCK will be held at the Rolph St. School Gym for the entire time. However, once per month the program will be held at First Baptist Church (101 Bidwell St.) where we will have a special program, family movie night or event with the group. You can refer to the kidsROCK calendar for details on these special nights. Please take a look at some of the frequently asked questions about this program. If you have questions of your own related to this program please call the FBC office at (519)842-8762 or e-mail us at church@fbctillsonburg.com and we will be glad to help.

Is this program open to the community?

Yes, all children in grades 3-5 from our community are welcome to participate. This program is not just for kids
from First Baptist Church, but is open to all kids in our community.

Does my child have to be registered to participate?
Yes, we require that all children participating in kidsROCK be registered beforehand. If you would like to come
with your child to check out the program before registering, you are most welcome to do so.

What kind of supervision will be provided?
As a part of our commitment to the safety of your child, all reasonable safety precautions will be in place during
this program including leaders and volunteers who have been through the proper screening process with First
Baptist Church. Our leaders have been trained and are aware of our childcare guidelines.

Who runs this program?
This program is under the direction of the First Baptist Church Christian Education team. The key leaders for the
kidsROCK program are James and Angela Kingsbury. Along with James and Angela are a team of adult and
student leaders who volunteer their time in making this program possible.

How do you do Drop-off and Pick-Up?
When kids are dropped off at the designated location (Rolph St. or FBC) we ask that the parent escort them to
the door and check in with the volunteer taking attendance. At pick-up time a parent must be present to pick
up their child unless other arrangements have been indicated on the registration form or a signed note is
provided.
