Baptist Convention of Ontario & Quebec

The Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec family of churches is committed to working together to fulfill its calling. We believe in the importance and primacy of Scripture. We share the conviction that all people can know God directly through Jesus Christ, and that God calls all people to Himself. This century-old commitment which created the BCOQ is demonstrated in the diversity in worship and service.

CBM: Canadian Baptist Ministries

Canadian Baptist Ministries is a movement of churches who call themselves Canadian Baptists. We are the link between churches across Canada and around the world. As part of the larger family of Baptist churches around the globe, we represent one of the largest networks of faith in the Protestant world. We are one of the most multi-cultural denominations in Canada, worshiping in 32 different languages on any given Sunday in almost as many diverse worship styles.

BCOQ Youth

Mission: Serving God by supporting our churches as they encourage today's youth in following Jesus.

Vision: Our vision is to strengthen youth ministry in healthy local churches as they pursue their mandate to develop young people who are:

  • Cultivating intimacy with Jesus
  • Clear in their identity as a child of God
  • Christ-like in their character
  • Connected in community
  • Contagious in active faith

Baptist Women of Ontario & Quebec

Many of us meet in traditional women's groups, such as mission circles and women's fellowships. Others attend Bible study groups and coffee hours. Some of us are involved in women's retreats and special events, such as the Toronto Chinese Baptist women's retreat and the new emerge events for younger women. Some of us are too busy with family, church, and jobs to attend any meetings--but we still want to keep in touch.

Macdiv: McMaster Divinity College

As a community of faith, we seek to be a spiritually and theologically vital and trusted community engaged in the education of those qualified for spiritual leadership in the church.

Alpha Course

Alpha is a ten-week opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith for our lives today. It is a practical introduction to the basics of Christianity with loads of opportunity for debate and discussion. The style of Alpha is informal, friendly and non-pressured - a style which seems to be appreciated in Canadian culture.
