Pastor Steve Amorin Steve is excited about the ministry of First Baptist Church and is thrilled to provide leadership in an active and thriving church family. He has been a part of the pastoral staff here at FBC since 2007 where he served as Youth Pastor. In 2011 he was appointed as Pastoral Team Leader after a time of seeking God's will for the future. Steve is passionate about seeing people become fully devoted followers of Christ and seeing households transformed as families get synchronized with God's Word. Since getting married in 2004, he and his wife Heather have served God in pastoral ministry. They have three wonderful little boys and in his free time Steve enjoys the great outdoors, building stuff and wrestling with his boys. He is a graduate of The Baptist Leadership Education Centre, Tyndale University and is currently working part-time on his Mdiv. at McMaster Divinity College. |

Rev. Donna Chapman Donna leads an amazing group of volunteers who keep our nursery, children’s ministry, and visitation program, supporting and encouraging families of all ages and sizes. A graduate of Acadia Divinity College, she has been doing this type of ministry for 23 years of which the past 6 years have been here at FBC. A little known fact (until now): She loves to sail but is afraid of water. Her life verse would be from 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” |
Rev. John Caswell John is serving our church as Interim Pastor, a role he has ministered in at serveral churches in the CBOQ. He sees his role as one of being like a "bridge", assisting a church in their Transition. He has also served as the Association Minister for the Oxford/Brant Association of Baptist Churches John is a graduate of the Seminary Extension Dept. of the Southern Baptist Convention (Nashville Tenn.) and McMaster University (Divinity College). John is married to Carol. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. When he is not enjoying playing with his grandchildren, he likes to play tennis or going for a bike ride. John also plays the Alto Saxophone in a Christian Orchestra. John's prime goal in his ministry is to see men, women and children come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. For those who have already come to that decision, to encourage and enable them to grow in their faith, and to use and develop the gifts and talents which God has given them. |

Sarah Willson Hi there! My name is Sarah Willson and I joined FBC in January of 2010. I have the pleasure of providing clerical support to our Pastors as well as to the many wonderful ministries that take place here at FBC. I offer the people of First Baptist Church a warm, friendly welcome when they are in need of assistance through the office as well as on the phone. Organization is key to satisfy the needs of a busy, bustling church and I am right here waiting to serve as best I can to provide that efficiency that creates an atmosphere of “a job well done”. |
